The logo which represents the Honor Guard was adopted in July, 2002 and was designed by Commander Steele and Firefighter, Aaron Blandford.

The logo displays the American Flag waving freely above an eagle with outstretched wings, facing front and his breast shielded with a mourning draped Maltese Cross. In his talon's, the eagle holds crossed axes.

The American Flag and Eagle are our National symbols. They represent courage, strength and freedom. The Maltese Cross is the badge of a firefighter. It is a symbol of protection and a badge of honor. The mourning band signifies that a firefighter has made the ultimate sacrifice and has layed down his life for his fellow man. The crossed axes represent the ceremonial chrome axes that are carried by the two guards of the Unit's Color Guard.
